A Roaring 1920′s New Year’s Eve Celebration | Milk & Roses Bistro, Free
Live jazz, cocktails, complimentary canapés and a midnight prosecco toast!
Mardi Gras New Year’s Eve | Drom, $45+
Start 2015 with hot jazz, vibrant colors and the magical spirit of 1920s New Orleans! The night will feature burlesque dancers, a New Orleans hot jazz band, electroswing a mock vintage photobooth.
Roaring ’20s New Year’s Eve Soirée | The Rum House, $55
Ticket price includes entry to the event, light bites throughout the evening, one glass of punch, a champagne toast at midnight, and live jazz from the 1920s by the talented Margaret Gianquinto and Ehud Asherie.

Travel back in time along Sixth Avenue’s M line! The Nostalgia Train is made up of subway cars that were in service along the lettered lines between the early1930s to the mid-1970s. There will even be live jazz bands!

Saturday Dec 13, 10 p.m. | Downtown Association, 60 Pine St.
A jazz holiday party with a fantasy twist. Make merry in a turn of the century mansion that will be strung with golden lanterns and filled with hot jazz. Put on your ball gowns, your tuxedos, your sorcerer’s robes, fairy wings, turbans and crowns. This will be an affair to remember.
Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra’s 6th Annual Winter Ball
Saturday Dec 13, 8 p.m. | The Irondale Center, 85 S. Oxford St
Their most grand and splendorous Winter Ball to date will be held in a historic art deco building in Fort Greene. Expect dazzling performances from the man himself as well as The Dreamland Follies, The Minsky Sisters and many more. Tickets include unlimited cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
Art Deco Society’s Holiday on the Normandie
Monday, Dec 15, 7-9 p.m. | Dominican Academy, 44 E. 68th St.
Join other Deco-fanatics aboard this French Deco ocean liner for a holiday party with a historic twist. Learn from maritime scholar Bill Miller how the Normandie played a large role in the development and spread of the Deco style. There will be festive treats, champagne and even a silent auction with fabulous jazz age gifts!
